Who we are

This site is operated by The House Check (thehousecheck.cloud). For anything about your data, contact privacy@thehousecheck.cloud. We are the data controller.

What we collect

Very little. There are no accounts on this site and nothing to sign up for.

• Analytics. Pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, device and browser — aggregated, not used to identify you.
• Technical logs. Our host records IP addresses and request data as part of serving and securing the site.
• Anything you email us, held for as long as it takes to deal with it.

We never ask for financial details, identity documents or payment information, and we will never contact you to request them. An operator might, as part of its own verification; we are not that operator.

Cookies

Used to understand which pages are read and to attribute referrals when you click through to an operator. You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to anything here. Operators set their own cookies once you land on their site, governed by their policies.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers for their own purposes. A small number of providers — hosting, analytics, email — process it on our instructions only.

How long we keep it

• Analytics: aggregated, no longer than 26 months.
• Server logs: typically 90 days.
• Correspondence: until the matter is resolved.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. Canadian residents have these rights under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law; EU and UK visitors under the GDPR. Write to privacy@thehousecheck.cloud and we will respond within 30 days without charge.

Children

This site covers age-restricted activity and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 19, and will delete it if we learn we have.
