Payments and withdrawals: where the evidence runs out

The section where review sites are usually weakest and where the detail actually costs people money. It is also where our evidence is thinnest, and we would rather say so than round it up.

Updated 24 September 2026

This is the weakest-evidenced part of the whole review, and we are going to be explicit about why rather than filling the gap with numbers from elsewhere.

What is listed

The operator's banking page lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, eCheck and Interac.

The Interac question matters more than the rest of the list

Interac is the method most Canadian players look for first, and whether it is supported — and in which form — changes how straightforward funding an account is.

The banking page names "Interac Online". That product was decommissioned in Canada and superseded by Interac e-Transfer and Interac Debit. The page is very likely carrying stale branding rather than describing what is actually live. Confirm which Interac product is available with support before you rely on it.

Why we treat the whole list as indicative

The banking page reads as global brand copy rather than Ontario-written content, and its method list changed materially between the snapshots we hold: three methods present in early 2025 had gone by March 2026, with American Express appearing in their place. A payment list that moves that much, on a page that does not appear to be maintained for Ontario, is not something to plan around without checking.

Verification on withdrawal

Identity documents may be requested when you withdraw — the operator states this itself. This is normal and not a warning sign, but it catches people out: the request arrives when you are trying to take money out, not when you are putting it in. Have your documents ready before your first withdrawal rather than during it.

What we will not tell you

Withdrawal processing times. We found no published processing time for any method, and we will not report one until the operator publishes one. Marketing claims on a homepage banner are not processing times.

Minimum withdrawal. A figure appears in the Canada-wide app store listing. It is not confirmed for the Ontario product, so we have not carried it across.
