The Ontario app, and the age rating to ignore

A real Ontario app, registered with the regulator and published by the operator itself — plus one thing on both store listings that does not apply to you.

An Ontario app exists and is formally registered. The AGCO registration record lists a mobile app under the name Jackpot City Ontario, which is regulator-side confirmation that it is a registered part of the offering rather than a third-party wrapper.

Google Play

Published by Cadtree Limited — the same entity that holds the registration, which is what you want to see. The listing states it is built for players in Ontario, has passed 100,000 downloads, and was updated in September 2026. Its data-safety declaration states that no data is shared with third parties and that data is encrypted in transit.

Apple App Store

Listed under the same seller. Note that it is a Canada-wide listing rather than an Ontario-only one, and its description covers the rest of Canada as well. The displayed app name varies between sources, so check the seller name rather than the title if you want to be sure you have the right one.

The age rating to ignore

Both stores label the app 18+. That is a global content-rating scheme, not provincial law. In Ontario the minimum age is 19, set by the Registrar's Standards, and it is enforced at registration regardless of what a store listing says. If you are 18 in Ontario, the app store rating does not make you eligible.

Not every game is on mobile

Worth repeating from the operator's own FAQ: older titles predate mobile optimisation and are not all available in the app. If you play a specific game, check before assuming it travels.
